The Approach

Wellness, woven into the day

Beyond the morning practice, New Morning offers private sessions in movement, energy and bodywork. Each one meets you where you are, slow and unhurried, designed to settle the nervous system and return you to ease.

The Practices

Ways to feel well

Six practices, offered one to one or in small groups, each rooted in the work at the heart of the retreat.

A guided yoga class on the covered veranda, an instructor supporting a reclining student.

Movement

Yoga & Movement

All-levels Hatha and Restorative yoga, slow and deeply stretched. We move at the pace of the breath, opening the body without forcing it, so the nervous system can finally let go.

Carved bamboo Block Therapy tools resting on yoga mats.

Fascial Release

Block Therapy

A guided fascial-release practice that uses sustained, supported pressure to unwind long-held tension. The work restores space, circulation and ease through the whole body.

A guest seated in meditation on a garden path, supported by a bolster and block.

Energy

Meditation & Reiki

Guided meditation paired with hands-on Reiki, a gentle energy practice that quiets the mind and invites deep rest. The session closes the gap between doing and simply being.

A singing bowl, selenite and crystals arranged in the garden for a sound session.

Sound

Sound Healing

Singing bowls and tuned resonance wash over the body in a sound bath. The tones slow the breath and the mind, carrying you into a restorative, meditative state.

A small group seated in a circle on woven blankets around a ceremonial fire, one woman tending the flame.

Ritual

Ceremony & Ritual

Intention-setting and quiet ceremony mark the work as something sacred. Small acts, held with care, that help you arrive fully and carry the calm home with you.

A bowl of folded affirmation cards ready for guided journaling.

Reflection

Journaling & Affirmation

Guided journaling and affirmation give shape to what surfaces in the stillness. With prompt and pen, insight becomes words you can return to long after the retreat.
