Privacy Policy
Last updated October 13, 2026
New Morning Retreat ("New Morning," "we," "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
We only collect the information you choose to send us through the reservation request form or the free island guide and first chapter signups: your name, email address, the session you are interested in, the number of guests, and any message you include. We do not use advertising trackers and we do not set marketing cookies.
Analytics
We may use Google Analytics to understand, in aggregate, how visitors use this site so we can improve it. Analytics is configured to anonymize IP addresses and is used only for measurement, never for advertising. You can learn more in the Google Privacy Policy.
How we use your information
We use the details you submit to respond to your reservation request and to arrange your time with us. We do not sell, rent, or trade your information.
The island guide and the first chapter
When you ask for the free Hope Town island guide or the free first chapter of Handbook for Healing, we keep your email address and use it to send occasional news about the book and the retreat, a few emails a year. Every email we send carries a way to unsubscribe, and you can also ask us to remove you at any time using the reservation form. Your address is never sold or shared for advertising.
How your request is delivered
Reservation requests are delivered to us by Web3Forms, a third-party form-to-email service, which processes your submission only to pass it along to us. You can review their practices in the Web3Forms privacy policy.
Links to other sites
This site links out to third parties such as booksellers and social media. Once you follow one of those links, their own privacy policies govern your visit. We are not responsible for the content or practices of sites we do not operate.
Analytics, embedded content and third-party services
This site uses Google Analytics, described below. Everything else listed here is infrastructure that serves the page and does not follow you to other websites.
- Vercel Inc. hosts this website. When a page is served, Vercel records standard request data (your IP address, browser type and the page requested) to keep the site running and secure.
- Google Analytics counts visits and shows us which pages are read. It sets cookies and receives your IP address and browser details. You can opt out with Google's browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout or by blocking cookies in your browser.
- Web3Forms delivers what you type into the contact form to our inbox. It processes the message only to deliver it.
- DGB Innovations, the studio that built this site, runs the form relay that delivers what you type into the contact form to our inbox. It processes the message only to deliver it.
- Google stores the list of island guide and first chapter signups for us in a Google Sheet, under Google's own privacy policy.
- The AI receptionist (the chat assistant in the corner of the page) is run by DGB Innovations. What you type into it is used to answer you and to pass your request to us; it is not used for advertising.
Each provider handles data under its own privacy policy. None of them is given your information for its own marketing, and we do not sell, rent or share your personal information for advertising.
AI chat assistant
The chat assistant in the corner of this site is an AI system, not a person. It is run for us by DGB Innovations. What you type is sent to DGB Innovations and to its AI model provider (currently Anthropic) to write each reply. DGB Innovations does not keep a transcript of the conversation, and the model provider handles it under its own commercial terms, which do not let it train its models on it. If you ask us to follow up, the name, contact details and question you give are passed to us so we can reply.
The assistant can make mistakes. Our posted information and policies, and our staff, have the final word, and nothing the assistant says changes them. Please confirm anything important with us directly, and do not type payment card numbers, health information or other sensitive details into the chat.
Data retention
We keep your request only as long as needed to respond and to manage your reservation, then remove it.
Your choices
You may ask us to confirm, correct, or delete the information you sent. To make a request, use the reservation form and let us know.
Do Not Track and California residents
Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal. There is no common standard for responding to it, so this site does not change its behavior when it receives one; the analytics described above is the only measurement it runs, and it is never used for advertising. If you live in California, you may ask what personal information we hold about you and ask us to delete it, using the reservation form. We do not sell personal information.
Children
This site is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will appear on this page with a new "last updated" date.
Governing law
This policy is governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions.
